Created in 2009, Mock Star was inspired by the pioneers of 80’s Arena Rock, that dominated the airwaves, MTV, and every magazine around, selling out arenas all over the world bands such as: Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Poison, Guns & Roses, Skid Row, Van Halen, Scorpions, Cinderella, Warrant, KISS, Ratt, Ozzy, and the list goes on and on…
Mock Star was formed with one simple goal in mind – to bring back THE BEST DECADE EVER!! Their goal is to return “80’s Arena Rock”, and all that it encompassed, back to the people. It was a time when going to a concert was fun!!! By recreating its timeless music and playing it with the utmost respect to its original artist, with exceptional musical accuracy, Mock Star has become one of the most sought-after cover bands in the Midwest. They truly are an experience you need to HEAR to believe. With unparalleled power lead vocals not often seen in cover bands today, shredding guitars, deep soul thumping bass and thunderous drums, Mock Star works to replicate the original sounds of the bands they are paying homage to and with the help of some of the best musicians the Midwest has to offer, Mock Star is doing just that! They have played Rocklahoma multiple times. You will NOT be disappointed at a Mock Star show!!
